“Colors of the River”- Children’s Aquatic Animals Talk

When: June 11, 2025 @ 10:00 am

Learn about the rainbow of life in our rivers!

The Little Tennessee River has a lot of really cool creatures in it, and it’s right here in our backyard! Let’s explore the beautiful colors that our fish, salamanders, bugs, and other aquatic animals display. This one-hour program at the Macon County Public Library will reveal the secrets of these mysterious yet stunning animals, including a chance to see some live animals up close and personal!

This talk will occur at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 11th and is free and open to all, and no registration is required. This program is aimed towards children ages 8-13, but anyone is welcome to attend.
