Local Food Gala Thank You

August 25, 2011

Thank you to the 208 guest who attended LTLT’s Third Annual Local Food Gala. It was a beautiful and elegant evening in Patton Valley. The Franklin Press editorial on August 3rd had this to say about the event: “The Land Trust for the Little Tennessee proved again Saturday night that you can throw a classy dinner for nearly 200 people using locally produced foods and beverages.” While a fundraising event for LTLT, the Gala “shines the spotlight on a welcome trend, one that has positive aspects for health, the economy and the environment.” LTLT appreciates all of the volunteers who made the evening successful and especially the local producers across its six-county project area.

Special thanks to everyone in the LTLT project area for helping make this possible, please support as many of these local business as possible, as they are a viable part of our local economy.
