Benefits of Gardening with Native Plants Talk

When: March 15, 2025 @ 1:00 pm

Stop by the Sylva Community Garden on Saturday, March 15th at 2:00pm to learn all about the benefits of gardening with native plants from Skye Cahoon, Conservation Outreach Director. We will discuss the differences between native, nonnative, and invasive plants, how native plants benefit both your garden and wildlife, and a few species you may want to incorporate into your flower or veggie garden. While you’re there, support the Sylva Community Garden by picking up some robust starts or healthy seeds for your spring garden. This event is rain or shine.
