Earth Day Celebration – Experience the Sicklefin Redhorse Run

When: April 22, 2021 @ 8:00 am

To celebrate the annual migration of the Sicklefin Redhorse, a crucial species in the Hiwassee River Valley, we are hosting an educational viewing of the run in partnership with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. Join us at 8am or 6pm to watch aquatic biologists tag the many fish that will be caught in the fyke nets in the Valley River on our Welch Farm property in Marble. For directions, please click here.
